FLOCKED STENCIL ROLLER

Use acrylic or latex paint

– Ask your local hardware shop or a paint store which FLAT or MATTE finish paints they suggest for the walls. Each country has different companies that offer paints, that’s why we cannot suggest a specific one.

– In USA our customers have used Benjamin Moore paints. It’s important that it is a flat or matte finish paint if you wish to clean the stencil easily.

– You can use also glossy paint on matte walls, which gives an amazing result, but glossy paints are a bit harder to wash off from the stencil. Just keep that in mind

Dense foam roller

– We recommend using a dense foam roller or flocked roller or a stencil brush when painting. If you wish to move faster then use the flocked foam roller (or dense foam roller), as it’s made from very thin material and leaves a thin layer of paint – this is very important when painting, as the thin layer of paint, dries quickly and you can move on forward.

Painter's tape

– We recommend using masking tapes available in hardware stores. Use the tape as much as that it’s still convenient to move forward as well.

– It is a good idea to put the tapes in every corner as well as at the edges of the stencil.

– Additionally, you can use a repositionable spray adhesive!

Washable

– Be sure to keep the stencil clean during painting, as the paint will accumulate on the stencil if you don’t wash it. Just keep working continuously with the stencil until you need to wash it.

– We recommend washing the stencil after 8-10 repositions. It is best to wash the stencil on the shower floor or in the bath tube using a brush and warm water.

– If the paint has dried a little on the stencil, we recommend leaving the stencil to soak under warm water for a few hours. Then the paint decomposes more easily.

Don't leave your stencil to dry up

– The stencil must be kept clean. Be sure not to leave the stencil to dry on the wall or floor with paint on it.
Keep working with the stencil until you need to wash it.

– If you plan to take a break, wash the stencil so that you can continue later with a clean stencil. For example, if you leave the stencil to dry for half an hour, the paint will dry onto the stencil and it will be almost impossible to clean it later on.

Store it horizontally

– You can keep the stencil horizontally on the floor either under the bed or under the cupboard.

– Don’t store the stencil in the postal tube! It will get rolled
